Editorial standards
Useful, current and clear about uncertainty
Our rules are designed to keep practical guides practical.
Primary sources first
For immigration rules, public transport, government services, taxes, official fees and other changing requirements, we prefer the responsible authority or direct operator over second-hand summaries.
Facts and advice are different
A fact describes a rule or observable condition. Advice explains a practical way to approach a decision. WorldSimple aims to keep those separate and never present a personal recommendation as an official rule.
Updates and corrections
Guides carry an update date. When a factual error is identified, the article should be corrected and the update date changed. Time-sensitive pages are reviewed more often than evergreen planning guides.
Commercial independence
WorldSimple currently runs without advertising. If advertising or affiliate relationships are added later, commercial links or placements will be disclosed and will not be presented as independent editorial conclusions.
